Navigating the crystal clear waters of Cabo San Lucas while doing what I love the most - putting on music and making people vibrate - is one of the most incredible experiences I live as a DJ. Playing on luxury yachts is not only exclusive, it is also a creative challenge that I enjoy very much.

In this blog I tell you what the experience of having a live DJ aboard a yacht is like, and why it can completely transform your event.

Imagine this: golden sunset, a glass of sparkling wine in hand, Cabo's iconic bow in the background... and enveloping music that adapts perfectly to the moment.

Playing on a yacht allows me to mix deep house, chill vibes and soft tech house during the afternoon, and then light up the party with reggaeton, house or open format when night falls. The energy feels completely intimate, but at the same time powerful.

A good musical selection elevates the experience of being at sea. I have learned to read to the guests quickly: if it is a group that wants to relax, I create elegant and sensual atmospheres; if they come to celebrate, I increase the intensity little by little until the yacht becomes a floating track.

I work with professional sound, mixer and even lights if the client wishes. Some even ask for live musicians to accompany me (yes, I've played with saxophonists on the high seas!).

Imagínate esto: atardecer dorado, una copa de vino espumoso en la mano, el arco icónico de Cabo al fondo… y música envolvente que se adapta perfectamente al momento.

Tocar en un yate me permite mezclar deep house, chill vibes y tech house suave durante la tarde, para luego encender la fiesta con reggaetón, house o open format cuando cae la noche. La energía se siente completamente íntima, pero al mismo tiempo poderosa.

Una buena selección musical eleva la experiencia de estar en el mar. He aprendido a leer a los invitados rápidamente: si es un grupo que quiere relajarse, creo atmósferas elegantes y sensuales; si vienen a celebrar, subo la intensidad poco a poco hasta que el yate se convierte en una pista flotante.

Trabajo con sonido profesional, mixer y hasta luces si el cliente lo desea. Algunos incluso piden músicos en vivo para acompañarme (¡sí, he tocado con saxofonistas en alta mar!).
